Endless Flooring provides specialist wood floor installation across Auckland, expertly identifying, supplying, and laying all types of tongue-and-groove native timbers and premium engineered flooring.

A beautifully finished floor relies entirely on how it is laid. While many general builders struggle to correctly identify and match heritage New Zealand wood species, our specialist installation team has the expertise to source and install the exact timber your home requires. From matching century-old Rimu in a heritage villa renovation to laying flawless engineered oak in a modern architectural build, we ensure your new floor is structurally sound, perfectly acclimated, and built to last a lifetime.

We manage the entire installation process from sub-floor preparation to the final coating, ensuring a seamless transition and perfect finish.
Our installation services cater to both traditional homes and modern developments:
Native Timber Floor Installation: We specialise in sourcing, supplying, and installing traditional New Zealand native timbers. From classic Rimu and Matai to Kauri, we ensure a flawless tongue-and-groove installation that honours your home's heritage.
Hardwood Timber Floor Installation: For high-traffic homes requiring maximum durability, we install premium imported hardwood floors, including European Oak. These dense timbers offer incredible resistance to impact and wear while providing a timeless, luxurious aesthetic.
Parquet Flooring Installation: Elevate your space with geometric elegance. Our master craftsmen meticulously install traditional parquet flooring, including popular herringbone and chevron patterns, creating a sophisticated, architectural focal point to any room.
Engineered Floor Installation: For superior dimensional stability over concrete slabs or underfloor heating, we supply and lay high-quality engineered timber planks. You get the authentic look and feel of solid wood with enhanced resistance to moisture and temperature fluctuations.
Recycled Flooring Installation: Renovating an older villa or bungalow? We source premium recycled and reclaimed floorboards to perfectly match the age, grain, and character of your existing floors, allowing for seamless room extensions and authentic restorations.
Sub-Floor Preparation: A flawless installation requires a perfect foundation. Before any timber is laid, our contractor division handles all essential prep work, including concrete grinding, levelling, and E3-approved moisture barrier applications.
Modern building codes require strict adherence to moisture control, particularly around kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries.
When it comes to new builds and major renovations, the construction sequence is critical. Many builders mistakenly install the kitchen cabinetry first and lay the flooring around it. At Endless Flooring, we strongly advise laying the timber floor before the kitchen is installed. If a plumbing leak occurs in the future, installing the kitchen first creates a hidden "well" under the units where water can pool undetected for years, rotting the floor from below.
Furthermore, new builds now require a Council-approved sealing system extending at least 1.5 meters from every hygienic floor protrusion (kitchens, bathrooms, toilets). Endless Flooring is 'Certified' to provide Council E3 specified and approved sealing systems, guaranteeing your new floor passes strict inspection standards.

"Happy to recommend"
"I am happy to recommend Endless Flooring and their team. I initially rang 3 companies to come and quote. They did a great job on my old kitchen floor. The floor looked lovely, and no mess was left behind."

We highly recommend laying the timber floor before the kitchen is installed. If you install the kitchen first, your cabinetry creates a hollow "well" on the sub-floor. In the event of a dishwasher or sink leak, water pools in this well, causing extensive unseen rot over years. Laying the floor first prevents this water trap.
Yes. Surprisingly, many senior builders cannot accurately identify specific New Zealand timbers. Our specialist team identifies your existing species (e.g., Rimu, Kauri, or Matai) and sources matching tongue-and-groove boards so your extension blends flawlessly with the original home.
Building Code E3 requires that floors in internal wet areas (like kitchens and bathrooms) must be impervious to water and easily cleaned. Endless Flooring uses certified sealing systems to meet these strict council requirements, protecting your timber from water damage and ensuring it passes inspection.
