When you hire Endless Flooring, you aren't just hiring a tradesman, you are hiring a technical expert. Owner and Senior Technician Ian Broxton brings over 55 years of technical finishing experience to the Auckland flooring industry.
Ian holds a Trade Certificate in Aircraft Engineering, specialising in pressurisation and air conditioning. Why does this matter for your floors? Because timber is a living material. Ian’s deep understanding of environmental conditions, atmospheric moisture, and humidity allows him to accurately diagnose why a floor is warping, moving, or failing, ensuring the root cause is fixed before any coating is applied.
Furthermore, Ian’s background includes Super Yacht interior and exterior finishing.

In an industry where a standard hull paint job costs $200,000 and a Super Yacht costs $900,000, perfection is the only acceptable standard. Ian brings this exact same level of elite quality control, powder-coating precision, and electrostatic finishing to your residential floors.
We strive to have every customer walking away feeling satisfied and happy. If there is something you're not happy with we will remedy it!

At one stage, Endless Flooring was the largest supplier of sanding and polyurethane services in Auckland. Today, we focus exclusively on quality over volume.
Ian has hand-picked a small, elite team of qualified tradesmen. We do not use day labourers or untrained subcontractors. There are only a handful of people Ian trusts to execute specialist stain colours and complex finishes, and they all work right here.
We have hand-picked qualified Tradesmen; all of them have worked for Endless Flooring for at least 10 years each. There are only a small handful of tradespeople that Ian would trust to know what they are doing and are positioned to give you the stain colours and finishes that you want. Specialist finishes are our speciality
We also have specialist teams for identifying, supplying, and laying all Types of Tongue and groove timbers. (Surprisingly, there are a lot of Senior Builders unable to identify Timbers in your house)
In all new builds, we recommend that the floors are laid before the kitchen is installed. In the last ten years, Ian has been surprised to see Builders laying the kitchen first and the floors second. If you are going to have a leak, it's going to be in the kitchen, bathroom or Toilet. Installing the kitchen first results in a well under your kitchen units; any leaks can build up over years before the damage is noted
New Builds now require a council-approved sealing system at least 1.5m from every Hygenic floor protrusion (kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, and wash house). Endless Flooring is certified to provide a Council E3-specified and approved sealing system
Specialist Concrete finishes are also available, grinding and sealed or polished, coloured to what you want. Specialist Concrete garage floor finishes, after the application of a hardening material, special 2-pot Dulux paints or Epoxy finishes are also available

ATFA Member: We are proud members of the Australasian Timber Flooring Association. All work is carried out strictly in accordance with ATFA specifications.

Council E3 Certified: We are certified applicators of Council E3-specified internal wet area sealing systems (mandatory for modern kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries).
