Can you polish the concrete to be the final floor?
Yes. While we primarily grind concrete to prepare it for timber installation, we can also perform concrete polishing for modern, industrial-style interiors or specialist garage floors, sealed with highly durable polyurethanes.
Do I have to remove the old tile glue before laying new floors?
Absolutely. If you apply new flooring adhesive over old, brittle tile glue, the new floor will only be as strong as the old glue. When that old glue eventually cracks and releases from the concrete, your brand-new timber floor will pop up with it.
